Vietnam is ranked 9th among the world’s garment exporters. The industry’s yearly total production capacity reaches 510,000 tons of material processing products (cotton, yarn, spinning), 300,000 tons of knitted wear, 680 million metres of weaving fabric and 2.15 billion pieces of clothing. In 2009 and 2010, the Vietnamese exporters are expected to obtain more orders for textiles and garments because of their high quality products and on time shipment.
